NoShowShield

NoShowShield is a web + mobile app for dial-a-ride agencies and paratransit contractors that reduces costly rider no-shows and late cancellations. It combines automated, accessible rider confirmations (SMS/voice/IVR) with real-time pickup ETAs and a simple “confirm/cancel” flow that works on basic phones. Dispatchers get a live risk dashboard that flags trips likely to no-show based on recent rider behavior, weather, pickup window tightness, and past route delays, then recommends actions: earlier reminder, call-out, or releasing the slot to a waitlist. The system also supports policy-compliant tracking (no-show counts, appeal notes) and generates monthly reports for funding oversight. This is not a full scheduling/dispatch replacement; it’s a bolt-on layer that integrates with existing paratransit software to improve utilization quickly without ripping out incumbent systems.
