NoShowShield
NoShowShield is a mobile + web app for organizing casual pick-up games where the biggest problem is unreliable attendance. Hosts create a game, set a refundable attendance deposit (or optional “pay-to-play”), and invite players via link. Players RSVP by paying a small deposit; if they cancel before the cutoff, they get it back automatically. If they no-show, the deposit is forfeited and can be used to discount future games, pay field fees, or reward standbys. The app maintains a standby queue that auto-promotes the next player when a spot opens, with instant notifications. It also tracks reliability scores (per sport/location) so hosts can choose “trusted-only” for tight games. This is not a social network; it’s a reliability and logistics layer that plugs into how people already organize games.
