NoShowShield

NoShowShield is a mobile + web app for amateur sports organizers who constantly deal with flaky attendance. It confirms players with lightweight “commit” check-ins, tracks reliability over time, and helps fill spots fast when someone bails. Organizers create a game, set roster size, and invite a pool. Players tap to commit by a deadline; after that, the app automatically pulls from a waitlist and notifies backups. It also supports optional deposits via Stripe (organizer-controlled) to reduce no-shows without turning the league into a bureaucracy. Reliability scores are private by default (visible to organizers), with clear rules to avoid drama. This isn’t a full league-management suite; it focuses on one painful problem: getting the right number of people to show up so the game actually happens.
