NoticeNinja is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps individuals prepare for a tax audit by converting IRS/state notices and their own tax return PDFs into a structured, evidence-ready checklist. Users upload the notice, last year’s return, and supporting docs; the app extracts the specific items being questioned (income, deductions, credits), then generates a “what to prove” list with due dates, document examples, and a folder structure. It also flags common weak points (missing mileage logs, inconsistent 1099 totals, Schedule C expense ratios) and prompts users to add context notes while they still remember. The goal is not to “beat the IRS,” but to reduce chaos: fewer missing documents, fewer contradictory explanations, and faster responses.
