NumPlaybook

NumPlaybook is a mobile app for ages 3–6 that builds early numeracy through ultra-short, parent-guided “micro-lessons” (counting, subitizing, number sense, comparing quantities, simple patterns). Instead of endless random mini-games, it uses a weekly skill path with 5-minute activities that require minimal setup and include optional offline prompts (e.g., “grab 6 blocks and split into two groups”). The app adapts difficulty based on accuracy and response time, but keeps the UI simple and calm—no dopamine-casino effects. Parents get a clear dashboard: what the child can do, what to practice next, and printable/at-home activities. Teachers can optionally assign a weekly path via a lightweight web portal. The goal is measurable progress in foundational number sense, not just screen time that looks educational.
