NutriVariant
NutriVariant is a mobile + web AI-assisted nutrigenomics app that turns raw consumer DNA files (23andMe/Ancestry-style exports) into practical, conservative nutrition guidance. Instead of pretending genes “determine” outcomes, it focuses on a small set of well-studied variants (e.g., caffeine metabolism, lactose tolerance, alcohol flush/ALDH2, omega-3 processing, folate-related pathways) and combines them with user goals, dietary preferences, and constraints. The app outputs “best-bet” food swaps, grocery lists, and meal templates with confidence levels and citations. It also includes a symptom/biomarker tracker (sleep, GI, energy, lipids if available) to run simple n-of-1 experiments: try a change for 2 weeks, measure, and keep or discard. It’s designed to be honest about uncertainty, avoid medical claims, and reduce decision fatigue for people overwhelmed by generic nutrition advice.
