OccasionKit is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that manages formal/occasion outfits like a project plan: event date, dress code, venue, weather, travel, and backup options. Users build a “look kit” (suit/tux, shirt, shoes, accessories) and the app generates a timeline: when to order/rent, tailoring windows, shipping buffers, pickup/return dates, and day-of packing. It connects to Gmail/Outlook to pull event details and receipts, then flags missing items and sizing risks. For rentals, it tracks vendor policies and deadlines and prompts users before it’s too late to fix mistakes. The AI is used narrowly: extracting dress code from invites, suggesting compatible items from what you already own, and predicting risk (late delivery, tailoring too tight) based on lead time and location. It’s not a “virtual try-on” fantasy—just logistics that prevents expensive, embarrassing failures.
