OfferProof is a mobile + web app that helps car owners validate and lock a realistic trade-in range before visiting a dealer. Users scan their VIN, answer a short condition checklist, and upload a quick walkaround video. The app generates a “Proof Pack” that includes condition notes, time-stamped media, market comps, and a predicted deduction map (e.g., tires, windshield, paint) so users know what dealers will likely ding them for. It then sends the Proof Pack to participating dealers for a structured bid, with clear assumptions and expiration. This isn’t magic: it won’t guarantee the highest price, and dealers can still reappraise in person. The value is reducing surprise deductions and wasted trips, and giving users leverage with documentation and comparable listings. Monetization: per-transaction fee from dealers or a consumer “offer lock” fee.
