OfficeHourQ

OfficeHourQ is a web + mobile app that manages real-time office-hour queues for professors, TAs, and tutoring centers. Students join a queue with a short question summary, attach a screenshot or file, and choose in-person or Zoom/Teams. Staff see a prioritized list with wait times, can batch similar questions, and can mark topics to generate lightweight analytics (what’s confusing, when demand spikes, who is repeatedly stuck). It also supports “micro-appointments” (5–10 minutes) and no-show handling, which is where most current solutions break down. This is not a magical learning platform; it’s operational tooling that reduces chaos, improves perceived fairness, and gives instructors evidence to adjust lectures and assignments. The MVP focuses on reliability, low friction sign-in, and integrations that campuses actually use.
