OfficeHoursX

OfficeHoursX is a web + mobile app that fixes the most common online-learning failure: students get stuck and churn because help is slow, unclear, or awkward to request. It adds a lightweight “help queue” layer on top of existing courses (LMS, cohort programs, bootcamps, tutoring centers). Students submit a question with context (assignment link, screenshot, what they tried), choose urgency, and get matched to the right TA/instructor based on topic tags and availability. Staff see a triaged queue, can request clarifications, and jump into a timed chat or quick video call. After each session, the app generates a short resolution note and a reusable FAQ entry for the course team. It’s not trying to replace the LMS; it’s the missing support workflow that reduces drop-offs and makes teaching scalable.
