OffsetAudit is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps buyers of carbon removal credits quickly sanity-check projects and spot low-quality claims before procurement. Users upload a project’s public docs (PDDs, monitoring reports, registry pages), and the app extracts key assumptions (baseline, permanence, leakage, additionality, MRV frequency, reversal terms) into a standardized scorecard. It flags common red flags (over-optimistic baselines, missing uncertainty bounds, weak permanence buffers, unverifiable activity data) and generates a short “buyer risk memo” you can share internally. It’s an AI + traditional app: AI handles document parsing, summarization, and inconsistency detection; deterministic rules enforce transparent scoring. This is not a replacement for full due diligence—it's a fast filter that saves teams from wasting weeks on bad leads and helps smaller buyers act with more confidence.
