OffsetCheck

OffsetCheck is a lightweight web app + browser extension that intercepts scheduling links and calendar invites and flags risky timezone situations before they cause no-shows. It detects ambiguous times (DST transitions, non-hour offsets like India/Nepal, “floating” times), mismatched attendee locales, and common copy/paste errors (e.g., “3pm PST” sent during PDT). Users paste an invite draft or open a scheduling page; OffsetCheck shows each attendee’s local time, highlights conflicts, and suggests a safer phrasing plus an auto-generated “time proof” snippet to include in the invite. It also offers a one-click “confirm with attendees” message that asks recipients to verify their local time with a single tap. This isn’t a full calendar replacement—it's a guardrail layer that reduces costly coordination mistakes for distributed teams and client-facing roles.
