OffSwitch
OffSwitch is a mobile + desktop app that helps knowledge workers actually disconnect after hours by turning “intent” into enforceable routines. It connects to your calendar and Slack/Teams to detect when you’re off the clock, then automatically sets status, silences notifications, and queues non-urgent messages into a scheduled “next work block” send. The app generates a simple weekly boundary report you can share with your manager: hours protected, after-hours pings avoided, and the few exceptions that were truly urgent. It also includes a lightweight “handoff card” so you can end the day with what’s done, what’s next, and what’s blocked—reducing the anxiety that keeps people checking messages. This is not a magic burnout cure; it’s a practical boundary automation tool that reduces the constant drip of after-hours work.
