OneCart

OneCart is a mobile + web app that reduces spending by forcing intentional purchasing. You set a simple “Allowed List” (recurring essentials and a few approved categories) and everything else goes into a 72-hour holding cart. The app reads your email receipts and bank transactions to detect impulse buys and duplicates, then prompts you to either (1) justify the purchase in one sentence, (2) swap it for something on your Allowed List, or (3) cancel/return it with one-tap guidance. It also tracks “stuff creep” by estimating how many new items entered your life each month from merchant categories and receipt line items. This is not a budgeting app; it’s a friction engine for minimalism. If you ignore it, it won’t magically fix you—its value comes from consistent use and the waiting rule.
