OneInOneOut
OneInOneOut is a mobile + web app that turns minimalism into a practical spending system. You create simple “ownership rules” (e.g., one-in-one-out for clothes, a hard cap of 12 kitchen gadgets, or a 30-day wait for non-essentials). When you’re about to buy, you log the item (or forward the receipt email) and the app forces a decision: what leaves, where it will be sold/donated, and whether the purchase still feels worth it after a cooling-off period. It tracks category caps, replacement-only purchases, and the real cost of “keeping stuff” by estimating storage/clutter burden. It’s not a budgeting app; it’s a friction layer for consumption. The app also generates a weekly “stuff delta” report: items added, items removed, money spent, money recouped, and the categories where you’re breaking your own rules.
