OpenAfter
OpenAfter is a mobile + web app that answers one question reliably: “What’s actually open right now and serving food?” It focuses on late-night eats (9pm–5am) and fixes the biggest failure of Google/Yelp at night: outdated hours and kitchens that quietly stop serving. The app uses a combination of AI and lightweight human verification to confirm “open,” “kitchen open,” “drive-thru open,” and “delivery available” status in near real time. Users can filter by distance, price, dietary needs, and “quiet vs. lively.” Restaurants can claim their page and update live service status in one tap (with optional POS/ordering integrations later). The MVP prioritizes accuracy over breadth: fewer cities, fewer listings, but high trust. Monetization: promoted placement for verified late-night spots, and a small subscription for power users (e.g., night-shift workers) who want alerts and saved routes.
