OpenBrief

OpenBrief is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that turns internal updates into a transparent, searchable reporting hub for employees, customers, or the public. Teams connect sources like Jira, GitHub, Google Drive, Notion, and incident tools, then define “reporting policies” (what gets summarized, what stays private, and who can see it). The app generates weekly/monthly briefs, project status pages, and decision logs with citations back to the original artifacts, plus an audit trail of edits and approvals. It’s not magic: it won’t fix bad data or missing process, but it will reduce the manual work and inconsistency that makes transparency fail. Built-in redaction and PII detection help prevent accidental leaks. The goal is simple: make reporting repeatable, verifiable, and easy to consume without turning managers into full-time writers.
