OpenLatch is a mobile + web app that helps couples build trust through structured, low-drama disclosure. Instead of vague “be vulnerable” advice, it uses guided check-ins, consent-based prompts, and clear boundaries to prevent oversharing or surprise confessions. Users choose a weekly “trust lane” (money, intimacy, family, jealousy, habits), answer short prompts privately, then share only what they explicitly approve. The app includes a repair flow for when something lands badly: acknowledge impact, clarify intent, agree on next steps, and schedule a follow-up. It also offers an AI-assisted “rewrite” tool to turn reactive messages into calm, accountable language—without inventing facts. This is not therapy and won’t fix toxic relationships, but it can reduce misunderstandings and help stable couples talk about hard topics consistently.
