OpenProof
OpenProof is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps learners and educators quickly judge whether an open course, tutorial, or OER is worth using. It aggregates signals that usually take hours to research: update recency, broken-link rate, license clarity, reading level, prerequisite mapping, community usage, and assessment availability. Users can create “learning packs” that combine multiple open resources into a coherent path, then publish a shareable quality report card for each pack. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI summarizes content, extracts prerequisites, and flags likely outdated sections, but the core value is the transparent scoring rubric and evidence links. The app is realistic because it doesn’t try to replace learning platforms; it reduces the friction of choosing and assembling trustworthy open materials.
