OpsDeconflict

OpsDeconflict is a secure web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps intelligence agencies prevent duplicated or conflicting investigative activity across units and partner organizations. Teams submit minimal “operation fingerprints” (target identifiers, geography, time window, authorities, sensitivity level) that are automatically compared against existing entries to flag potential collisions without exposing full case details. The system supports tiered disclosure: if a conflict is detected, it routes a controlled request-to-contact workflow to designated liaisons, logging every access and decision. It also provides deconfliction dashboards for duty officers and joint task forces, with configurable rules (e.g., watchlists, restricted targets, protected sources). This is not glamorous software, but it solves a real coordination problem that causes wasted effort, blown sources, and political fallout. The product lives or dies on trust, auditability, and integration with existing identity and case systems.
