OptiPassport

OptiPassport is a mobile + web app that gives each pair of luxury sunglasses a secure digital “passport” for authenticity, ownership, and after-sales service. Brands or authorized retailers issue a passport at purchase by scanning a QR/NFC tag on the case or card; the buyer claims it in-app and can later transfer ownership when reselling. The passport stores model details, warranty status, service history, and verified purchase proof, reducing fraud and chargebacks. For consumers, it simplifies repairs, warranty claims, and resale by providing a single trusted record. For brands/retailers, it offers a lightweight post-purchase channel (service reminders, care tips, recall notices) without spamming. This is not a marketplace; it’s infrastructure that makes existing sales and resale safer. It’s realistic only if you start with a few boutique brands/retailers willing to pilot.
