OrbitalTwin
OrbitalTwin is a web + desktop app for creating lightweight digital twins of satellites and space subsystems for training, procedures, and anomaly rehearsal. Instead of full-blown physics simulation (expensive and slow to validate), it focuses on operational realism: command/telemetry flows, state machines, fault injection, and checklists. Teams can import telemetry schemas, replay real passes, and run “what-if” scenarios (battery low, comm dropouts, thermal limits) to practice responses and refine procedures. It includes a shared virtual control room where operators can coordinate, annotate timelines, and generate post-run reports for compliance and lessons learned. This is not a game engine or a CAD tool; it’s a pragmatic ops simulator that small satellite teams can actually afford and maintain. It integrates with common ground systems via APIs and supports offline rehearsal for secure environments.
