OrbitNav

OrbitNav is a web app (with optional desktop companion) for mission planners who need practical, constraint-aware routing in Earth orbit. It generates maneuver plans between orbits while accounting for real-world factors: conjunction risk windows, predicted drag from space weather, ground-station visibility, eclipse/thermal constraints, and fuel budgets. Users import TLE/OD data, define objectives (minimize propellant, minimize time, maximize contact time), and get candidate transfer sequences with clear trade-offs and a “why this route” explanation. It’s not a flight dynamics suite replacement; it’s a decision layer that sits above existing tools and helps teams converge faster on feasible routes. The MVP focuses on LEO and SSO where operational constraints and drag variability create frequent replanning. Outputs are exportable to common formats for review and downstream simulation.
