OrdinanceIQ
OrdinanceIQ is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that monitors city/county agendas, proposed ordinances, zoning changes, and procurement notices, then turns them into plain-English summaries with deadlines and impact tags. Users pick jurisdictions and topics (housing, short-term rentals, cannabis, signage, taxes, permits, public safety) and get alerts when something actionable appears—public comment windows, hearings, fee changes, enforcement start dates. The app links back to primary sources, provides a timeline of the legislative process, and generates a “what to say” comment draft users can edit and submit. It also keeps an audit trail of what changed between versions of a proposal—something most local government sites make painfully hard. This is an AI + traditional app: AI for summarization/diffing and classification, traditional for verified sourcing, workflows, and notifications.
