OrgSketch

OrgSketch is a web app (with optional desktop companion) for organizational design that turns messy reorg discussions into a structured, testable plan. It lets leaders model teams, roles, reporting lines, spans of control, and decision ownership, then run “what-if” scenarios (e.g., merge departments, add a layer, shift headcount). The app flags common design problems—too many direct reports, unclear accountability, duplicated functions, broken handoffs—and generates a simple change plan with risks, comms checklist, and a draft org chart. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for modeling and governance; AI to summarize tradeoffs, propose role charters, and translate design decisions into clear narratives. It integrates with HRIS (Workday/BambooHR) and Slack/Teams to keep the model synced with reality and reduce spreadsheet-driven reorgs.
