OriginProof is a web app (with optional mobile capture) that helps exporters, importers, and customs brokers assemble defensible “rules of origin” evidence for shipments under specific trade agreements. Users pick an agreement and HS code, then the app generates a checklist of required documents and data points (BOM, supplier declarations, manufacturing steps, regional value content calculations). It stores evidence in a structured dossier, flags missing items, and produces an audit-ready export packet for brokers or internal compliance. This is not magic: it won’t replace legal counsel and it won’t guarantee preferential treatment. The value is speed, consistency, and fewer preventable errors—especially for mid-market firms that can’t afford a full-time trade compliance team. The AI component assists with document extraction, mapping fields to origin requirements, and highlighting inconsistencies, but all outputs are reviewable and traceable to source files.
