OriginProof

OriginProof is a web app (with optional mobile capture) that helps exporters and importers assemble, validate, and store “proof of origin” and supplier declarations needed for preferential tariffs (e.g., USMCA, EU FTAs). Users upload invoices, BOMs, supplier affidavits, and shipping docs; the app maps materials to HS codes, calculates regional value content rules, and produces an audit-ready origin packet with a clear evidence trail. It also tracks expiration dates for supplier declarations, flags missing documentation before shipment, and creates standardized certificates or statements for customers and brokers. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI assists with document extraction, classification suggestions, and rule-check prompts, but the workflow is built around compliance checklists and human approval. It’s not glamorous, but it targets a real paperwork bottleneck that causes delays, penalties, and lost preferential duty savings.
