OriginProof is a mobile + web AI app that helps small food businesses and serious home cooks source ingredients with less fraud, fewer surprises, and clearer tradeoffs. Users scan a supplier invoice, COA, or product label and the app extracts key fields (origin, lot, harvest date, certifications, allergens, test results) and flags inconsistencies, missing documents, or suspicious claims. It then suggests alternative suppliers and comparable products based on verified documentation, not marketing copy. A simple “trust score” is generated per ingredient batch, with an audit trail you can share with customers or inspectors. This is not a marketplace; it’s a verification and decision layer that plugs into how people already buy. Realistically, it won’t catch every lie—many suppliers won’t provide clean data—but it will reduce the most common sourcing mistakes and documentation gaps.
