OriginSnap

OriginSnap is a web app with a companion mobile scanner that helps cross-border sellers generate defensible “country of origin” and materials documentation for shipments. Users upload product BOMs, supplier invoices, and manufacturing steps; the app maps them to common rules-of-origin frameworks (e.g., substantial transformation, tariff shift) and produces a structured evidence pack: origin statement, supporting document checklist, and a customs-ready summary for brokers. It also flags weak points (missing supplier declarations, inconsistent invoice data, risky assembly locations) before the parcel leaves the warehouse. This is not a magic compliance button: it won’t replace a trade attorney, and edge cases will still need human review. But for the huge volume of mid-risk SKUs, it reduces back-and-forth with brokers, lowers holds, and standardizes documentation across teams and suppliers.
