OriginSnap

OriginSnap is a web + mobile app that helps importers, exporters, and customs brokers assemble defensible country-of-origin and tariff-treatment evidence for each SKU and shipment. Users upload supplier declarations, bills of materials, manufacturing steps, and certificates; the app organizes them into an “audit-ready” dossier tied to HS code, origin rule set (e.g., USMCA, EU FTAs), and shipment dates. An AI assistant flags missing documents, inconsistent supplier statements, and common red flags (e.g., substantial transformation gaps, mismatched addresses, expired certificates). It also generates a plain-language origin rationale and a checklist for broker submission. Reality check: it won’t magically guarantee acceptance—customs decisions vary—but it can drastically reduce back-and-forth, penalties, and internal chaos by making origin evidence consistent, searchable, and repeatable across shipments.
