OTPShield
OTPShield is a mobile + desktop companion that blocks the most common 2FA failure: real-time OTP theft via phishing and “support” scams. It works by acting as a secure inbox for one-time codes: SMS and email codes are automatically forwarded into an encrypted vault (via OS share/notification access on mobile and a lightweight desktop mail plugin), then released only when the login page is verified. The app checks the domain, TLS certificate, and known brand login patterns, and warns when a code is being used on a lookalike site or in a remote-session context. It also provides a “call-safe” mode: if you’re on a phone call and an OTP arrives, it forces a 10-second delay and shows a big prompt explaining common scam scripts. This is not magic—users can still ignore warnings—but it meaningfully reduces successful OTP handoffs.
