OutageLedger

OutageLedger is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for telecom operators and contractors to capture, reconcile, and publish a defensible outage timeline across NOC, field crews, and vendors. It ingests events from ticketing systems and network alarms, then lets humans confirm key milestones (dispatch, on-site, splice complete, restoration, customer-impact start/stop). The app produces an audit-ready incident record with attachments (photos, OTDR traces, permits, call logs) and a clear “who said what when” ledger to reduce disputes and SLA penalties. It’s not a magic auto-RCA tool; it’s a practical system to stop the chaos of spreadsheets, email threads, and conflicting timestamps. Optional AI assists with summarizing incident notes and extracting milestones from free-text updates, but the workflow stays human-controlled to avoid bad automation in high-stakes operations.
