OutageLedger

OutageLedger is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) that automatically captures and organizes hard evidence of technology failures and recovery actions for operational risk, audits, and post-incident reviews. It ingests signals from incident tools (PagerDuty/Jira), cloud logs (AWS CloudTrail), and chat (Slack) to build a tamper-evident timeline: what broke, when it was detected, who approved changes, what was executed, and when service recovered. The core output is an “audit pack” you can export for regulators, internal audit, and vendor governance—complete with control mappings (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001), RTO/RPO calculations, and recurring failure patterns. It’s realistic: it won’t prevent outages by itself, but it will drastically reduce the chaos, finger-pointing, and weeks of manual evidence gathering after one. AI is used to summarize incidents and map evidence to controls; humans still validate.
