OutageProof

OutageProof is a web + mobile AI app for electric distribution utilities that turns messy operational signals into actionable “likely failure” alerts at the feeder/transformer level. It ingests AMI last-gasp pings, SCADA events, OMS outage tickets, weather (wind/ice/heat), and vegetation risk layers to forecast where outages are likely in the next 6–48 hours and which assets are most vulnerable. The product focuses on practical workflows: pre-staging crews, targeted patrol routes, switching plans, and customer communications. It also provides post-event analysis to quantify what predictions were right/wrong and how much SAIDI/SAIFI could have been reduced. Brutal truth: utilities won’t buy another dashboard. This must integrate into existing OMS/ADMS processes and prove measurable reliability gains in one storm season, or it dies.
