OutageProof

OutageProof is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) for satellite-internet users and small operators who need to know whether the problem is “the sky, the dish, or the ISP.” It runs scheduled micro-tests (DNS, HTTP, packet loss, latency, jitter) and correlates them with local weather (rain fade risk), satellite visibility windows, and device telemetry you can safely share (router stats, dish signal if available). The app generates an incident timeline you can export to your ISP or enterprise customer to speed up escalations and SLA disputes. It also offers a simple “what to try next” flow: cabling checks, obstruction check prompts, and router configuration sanity checks. This isn’t magic—if your provider hides metrics, accuracy is limited—but it will still reduce guesswork and finger-pointing with consistent evidence.
