OutagePulse

OutagePulse is a web app (with an optional mobile companion) for distribution utilities to improve grid resilience by speeding up outage detection, triage, and restoration prioritization. It ingests SCADA/OMS events, AMI last-gasp pings, and weather feeds to produce a single, feeder-level “confidence map” of what’s actually out, what’s likely damaged, and what can be restored first. The AI component focuses on practical classification and ranking: probable fault type, likely device involved (fuse/recloser/transformer), and restoration sequence suggestions based on crew availability and critical load locations (hospitals, water plants). This is not a flashy digital twin; it’s an operational decision layer that reduces chaos during storms. The product lives or dies on integrations and operator trust, so it includes audit trails, explainable scoring, and easy export back into existing OMS workflows.
