OutageReceipt

OutageReceipt is a mobile + web app that automatically documents broadband outages and chronic slowdowns and turns them into a clean, timestamped “service failure report” you can send to your ISP, landlord, HOA, or regulator. It runs lightweight background checks (with user consent) against multiple endpoints, logs packet loss/latency/throughput, and correlates issues with modem/router uptime and local power events. When performance drops below the plan’s advertised threshold, it generates a claim packet: charts, raw logs, and a plain-English summary. The app also tracks your ISP’s stated SLA/terms and suggests the exact wording to request credits. This is not magic: it won’t fix your internet and some ISPs will ignore you. But it gives customers credible evidence, reduces support runarounds, and helps small businesses justify switching providers or upgrading to fiber.
