OutageScribe

OutageScribe is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps critical-infrastructure operators produce consistent, regulator-ready incident reports from chaotic timelines. During an event, teams dump notes, radio logs, SCADA alarms, emails, and ticket updates into a single incident workspace. The app auto-builds a timeline, highlights gaps (missing timestamps, unclear actions, unassigned follow-ups), and generates draft narratives aligned to common regulatory and internal templates. It also creates a post-incident action register with owners, due dates, and evidence attachments. This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used for summarization, timeline reconstruction, and template drafting, but the system is designed for human verification and strict audit trails. The goal is not “magic AI,” but reducing the painful admin load after every outage while improving consistency, defensibility, and learning across sites.
