PaaSDrift

PaaSDrift is a web app that continuously detects and prevents configuration drift across PaaS environments (Heroku, Cloud Foundry, Azure App Service, Google App Engine, etc.). Teams often think their staging and production are identical, but add-ons, env vars, buildpacks, routing rules, autoscaling, and runtime versions silently diverge—until an outage or a failed deploy. PaaSDrift snapshots platform configuration, compares environments, and alerts on risky changes with a clear blast-radius view. It can optionally enforce guardrails by auto-reverting unauthorized edits or requiring approvals for high-impact changes. This is not another CI/CD tool; it’s a focused “platform state integrity” layer for PaaS users who don’t want to build internal tooling. The product includes audit trails suitable for SOC2 evidence, plus simple policy rules (e.g., “prod must match staging for runtime + env var set”).
