PackBack is a mobile + web app that helps small and mid-sized brands run closed-loop packaging returns without enterprise complexity. Customers scan a QR code on a package, get simple return instructions, and earn instant store credit once the return is verified. Brands get a dashboard showing return rates, cost per return, carbon/waste estimates, and which SKUs or regions are failing. The system supports multiple return paths: mail-back, drop-off partners, or in-store returns. It also generates “reuse cycles” tracking so brands can prove how many times packaging was actually reused, not just collected. This is not a magic sustainability app: it’s a logistics + incentives tool that makes returns operationally manageable and financially visible. The MVP focuses on one packaging type (e.g., reusable jars or pouches) and one return method to avoid scope creep.
