PackTrace is a web + mobile app that helps brands and manufacturers prevent product-safety incidents caused by packaging and labeling mistakes (wrong allergen statement, missing warnings, incorrect language, outdated artwork, wrong barcode/GTIN, or mismatched claims). Teams upload packaging PDFs/artwork and link them to SKUs, markets, and regulatory checklists. The app runs automated preflight checks (text presence, required fields, version control, barcode validation, and market-specific warning rules) and creates an approval trail with sign-offs from QA, regulatory, and marketing. It also flags “silent risk” changes—like a supplier switching film material or ink—by requiring a structured change request before print runs. This won’t magically guarantee compliance, but it will reduce preventable, expensive errors that commonly trigger recalls, chargebacks, and retailer delistings.
