PACSBridge

PACSBridge is a web + desktop companion that monitors imaging studies as they move from modality to PACS/RIS and flags operational problems before they become patient-care delays. Instead of trying to “read” scans (high liability, crowded market), it focuses on quality and completeness: missing series, wrong laterality markers, inconsistent patient metadata, protocol mismatches, motion/coverage issues, and corrupted transfers. The app ingests DICOM headers and low-res thumbnails (where allowed) to generate a QA score, route issues to the right tech/radiologist, and create a clean audit trail for compliance. It also provides dashboards for repeat-scan drivers, scanner/protocol performance, and turnaround-time bottlenecks. Realistically, the value is in reducing repeats, preventing report addenda due to wrong study context, and cutting time wasted hunting for missing images—measurable savings that administrators will pay for.
