PACSWatch
PACSWatch is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) that continuously monitors PACS, DICOM routing, modality connectivity, and storage health, then turns noisy logs into actionable incidents. It polls DICOM C-ECHO/C-FIND endpoints, watches DICOM router queues, checks HL7 feed heartbeat, and tracks storage latency/capacity trends. When something breaks (stuck studies, failing routes, slow retrievals, AE title mismatches, expiring certificates), it alerts the right on-call person with a clear probable cause and a runbook link. It also provides a daily “radiology readiness” score and a change log so admins can correlate outages with patches, firewall changes, or vendor upgrades. This is not a replacement for enterprise monitoring suites; it’s a PACS-specific layer that speaks radiology’s language and reduces time-to-diagnosis when the phones start ringing.
