PACSWatch

PACSWatch is a web app (with an optional lightweight desktop agent) that monitors the “last mile” of medical imaging: modality to PACS, PACS to VNA, routing rules, and study availability in the viewer. Instead of trying to replace PACS/RIS, it passively checks for stuck queues, missing series, mismatched patient IDs, failed DICOM C-STORE/C-MOVE, and unusually long turnaround times by modality/site. It generates actionable alerts with context (AE titles, timestamps, error codes, affected studies) and a simple runbook so on-call imaging IT can resolve issues fast. The MVP focuses on reliability and auditability, not flashy dashboards. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional monitoring plus AI-assisted anomaly detection to reduce false alarms and spot “slow-burn” failures (e.g., gradually degrading network paths).
