PadaProof is a web + mobile app for serious students of the Vedas and related śāstras who keep running into mismatched verses, missing accents, and inconsistent transliterations across books and PDFs. It lets you search a mantra by a few words (Devanagari, IAST, or plain Latin), then instantly compare multiple trusted editions side-by-side with metadata (śākhā, maṇḍala/sūkta/mantra, pada/saṃhitā, source scan link). The app highlights differences at the word and sandhi level, flags likely OCR errors, and provides a clean citation you can paste into notes or publications. It’s not a “learn Vedas in 7 days” product; it’s a verification and referencing tool. The MVP focuses on a small, high-quality corpus (e.g., select Rigveda + key ancillary texts) and expands via partnerships and licensed/public-domain sources.
