PagePacer
PagePacer is a mobile + web e-book library built around “micro-chapters” (1–3 minutes each) for kids ages 5–10. Parents pick a reading goal (5, 10, or 15 minutes), and the app serves complete stories designed to end cleanly at the goal—no awkward stopping mid-scene. It includes a parent dashboard with streaks, time-on-task, and gentle difficulty progression based on comprehension check-ins (simple multiple-choice, not essays). Content is licensed and also commissioned from indie children’s authors with clear, fair royalties. It’s not trying to replace schools or be a full curriculum; it’s a practical nightly reading tool that reduces bedtime friction. Monetization is subscription with a small free tier, plus optional “family packs” for multiple kids. Realistically, success depends on acquiring quality content and keeping churn low.
