PaintPlanr

PaintPlanr is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that turns model kit instructions into a practical, paint-first build plan. Users photograph or upload the instruction booklet, then the app extracts paint callouts, sub-assemblies, and step order into a checklist tailored to their paint brand (Tamiya, Vallejo, Mr. Color, etc.). It also generates a “paint session” schedule: prime everything that needs primer, batch similar colors across parts, and warn about steps that will be hard to reach after assembly. The AI is used only for OCR and layout parsing; everything else is deterministic so results are predictable. The app tracks what you actually used, so next builds get faster and more accurate. It’s not a social network and not a generic inventory tracker—it's a workflow tool for finishing kits with fewer mistakes and less rework.
