PairingPal is a mobile + web AI app that helps home cooks and small restaurants design fusion dishes by focusing on what matters: flavor compatibility, technique overlap, and ingredient availability. Users pick two cuisines (or a base dish and a “twist”), set constraints (diet, spice level, budget, time, equipment), and the app generates 3–5 fusion concepts with step-by-step recipes, substitution paths, and a “why it works” breakdown (acid/fat/heat/sweet/umami balance). It also outputs a shopping list and a prep timeline. The realism layer is the point: it flags combinations likely to taste muddy, clash aromatically, or require hard-to-source ingredients, and suggests safer alternatives. A lightweight community section lets users rate results and upload photos, but the core value is consistent, repeatable fusion planning rather than endless scrolling for inspiration.
