PairProof

PairProof is a web + mobile app (traditional app with light AI assistance) that helps reptile and amphibian breeders plan pairings with fewer genetic surprises. Users build a simple lineage tree per animal, log known traits (morphs, hets, suspected hets), and record clutch outcomes. The app then runs rule-based genetic checks for common inheritance patterns (recessive, co-dominant, incomplete dominant) and flags risky pairings (e.g., likely lethal combos, high inbreeding coefficient, or repeated low-viability outcomes). A lightweight AI layer helps clean messy data: it suggests standardized trait names, warns about contradictory entries, and summarizes “what we actually know” vs guesses. It’s realistic: it won’t “predict morphs perfectly,” but it will reduce preventable mistakes, improve record quality, and make breeding plans easier to explain to buyers and partners.
