PaletteAudit

PaletteAudit is a desktop + web app that audits digital artwork files for color-management and export issues that routinely ruin prints, merch, and client deliveries. You drop in PSD/AI/PNG/JPG/PDF files and it flags common problems: missing/embedded ICC profiles, accidental sRGB-to-CMYK conversions, out-of-gamut colors for specific print standards, inconsistent black builds, transparency flattening risks, and export settings that will band gradients. It generates a clear “fix list” tailored to your target output (Instagram, web, giclée print, DTG, offset, etc.) and can produce a standardized export package with correct profiles and naming. This is not a painting app; it’s a preflight tool for artists and small studios who don’t have a production department. It’s partly AI-assisted (for detecting risky gradients/banding and predicting print issues) but mostly deterministic color science and rules-based checks.
